Joshua Valbuena

Joshua Valbuena is a young local artist who uses a mixture of techniques to create surrealist and vivid pieces of art. He is attracted to different themes and stories. Never focusing on what already is, but on what could be, he delves into painting and photography to explore the allure of the imagination. Joshua has been drawing ever since he can remember. Being heavily influenced by cartoons as a child, he started writing and illustrating his own comic books at the age of nine. This influence can still be seen in his work today. He works primarily with Digital media, Photography, and Recycled material.
