Who she is

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, and now based in Aruba, Jean is a trained Active Expressionist. Her love of movement took her into competitive skiing and professional mountain biking, and from there into abstract wheel painting. Every rolling wheel on the canvas stands for movement and flow.

More than motion

Beneath the colour and the patterns lies a commentary on the challenges of being a female artist: her work questions traditional gender roles, in the art world and beyond. Her paintings are in collections around the world.
