Yahaira Maduro

Abstract Expression & Pop Art Artist

Born and raised in Aruba, Yahaira Maduro is a self-taught visual artist whose expressive works burst with color, movement, and emotional energy. Though she holds an LL.M in Notarial Law from Leiden University and built a career as a Legal Specialist upon returning to Aruba in 2002, art has always remained her true passion.

Yahaira’s creative voice thrives in the bold worlds of Abstract Expressionism and Pop Art. Her practice is rooted in raw emotion, spontaneity, and a deep love for color. Inspired by “Action Painting,” she channels the techniques of Jackson Pollock—dripping, splashing, and pouring paint from all angles onto the canvas to explore joy, freedom, and playfulness in every stroke.

Her work is a celebration of feeling—alive with daring color combinations, rich texture, and layered contrast. Painting from the heart, Yahaira seeks to transmit happiness, power, and courage, creating pieces that speak directly to the soul and spark smiles wherever they’re seen.
